What is Ghoster Mail?

Ghoster Mail is a temporary (disposable) email service. It lets you create many real mailboxes on the @ghostermail.com domain at once, receive and send email, and delete the mailboxes when they are no longer needed. It works in the browser on any device and offers a REST API and an MCP server.

Is Ghoster Mail free?

Yes. The free plan gives you up to 20 mailboxes for receiving and sending email. Full access costs $4 per month and adds 200 mailboxes at a time with unlimited deletion and re-creation, the REST API, the MCP server and notifications.

How many temporary email addresses can I create at once?

Up to 60 mailboxes in a single action. You can keep up to 20 mailboxes on the free plan and up to 200 at the same time with full access.

Can I send emails, not only receive them?

Yes. Unlike most temp mail services, every Ghoster Mail mailbox can send, reply and forward messages, including attachments and scheduled sending.

Do my mailboxes expire?

No, they are permanent. A mailbox and all its messages stay available until you delete it yourself — there is no 10-minute or 24-hour timer like in typical temp mail services. Come back to the same address whenever you need it, for example to reset a password.

Is there an API for temporary email?

Yes, with full access. The REST API lets you create and delete mailboxes, list and read messages and send email, with up to 3 API keys per account. Full documentation is available in your account after signing in.

Can AI agents use Ghoster Mail?

Yes. With full access, assistants like Claude can connect to the MCP server at https://api.ghostermail.com/mcp and use tools such as create_accounts, wait_for_message and read_message to receive verification codes on their own.

Do I need to register?

A free account is required so that your mailboxes stay private and only you can read them. Signing up takes a few seconds.

What happens when I reach the 200 mailbox limit?

Nothing stops you. With full access the limit counts only the mailboxes that exist at the same time: delete any or all of them and create new ones with different names — as many times as you need, for example for repeated sign-ups or test runs.
